Parking
A ramp offering convenient, accessible parking is located near the intersection of Delaware and Harvard streets on the University of Minnesota campus. The ramp is connected by a temperature-controlled underground walkway to the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, to the VFW and Masonic Cancer Center, and to the entrance of Fairview-University Medical Center/Fairview-University Children’s Hospital. To receive the reduced patient and visitor parking rate at this ramp, remember to have your parking ramp ticket validated at the GCRC nurses station. For information about special rates, coupons, tokens and stamps to offer your research patients please contact the Fairview parking services.
Parking & Wheelchairs for the Handicapped
Parking spaces for the handicapped are available in the patient/visitor parking ramp. For information about assistance with transport from the ramp to the clinic, please call the Fairview parking ramp manager at (612) 672-7272. Between the Malcolm Moos Tower and the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, there are six parking spaces, three on either side of Delaware Street, designated for handicapped use. Wheelchairs are available in the clinic or ramp entrances. You may also ask staff at any information desk to call for a wheelchair.
